fiverr

FiverrĀ®, the super fun micropayment site where people do things for $5 now accepts Bitcoin as a payment option. The services there range from very silly to useful, and the site’s been for about four years.

I decided to buy a personal assistant to help with boring tasks for Spelunk.in. I went with the one with pink hair.

Okay, easy enough! Let’s hit order now. Usually this goes to a Paypal screen.

Hooray, payment options! So if you’re not already logged into Coinbase, it wants you to go open another window and do your 2factor authentication. Otherwise, you can either drop in a bitcoin address or use the login fields to go into your account. It was integrated pretty well, and I found it easy to use.

Many of the Fiverr users are broke college kids who also live overseas. I made a quick gig about my turtle, and explored their payout system. People who sell on fiverr don’t actually get bitcoin- I hope this changes.
